What is TikTok Unicorn?

TikTok Unicorn is a modded version of the original TikTok app that brings many new features to the platform, such as downloading videos without watermark, posting comments more than 90 characters, saving the profile picture of TikTok accounts, and more.

The tweak can be installed on iOS devices using a sideloading tool, such as AltStore. We will explain the installation process later in this guide as well as how to download the latest version of the TikTok Unicorn IPA.

1. Install AltStore on your device

AltStore is an installer that lets you sideload the TikTok Unicorn IPA and have it installed on your iOS device. It is the best tool out there for sideloading IPA files, such as Instagram++, WhatsApp++, Cercube, or any other app.

The first step of the process is to install AltStore on your device. We have covered the installation guide in a different article, which you can read by clicking here.

2. Delete TikTok

The tweak cannot be installed on your device if you already have the original TikTok app. Therefore, make sure to remove the app from your iOS device.

3. Download TikTok Unicorn from this page

Using Safari on iOS, save the TikTok IPA file on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod from the Download section above.

We do our best to update the app as soon as there are new versions available, so check back regularly for new updates.

4. Open the IPA file

When the download completes, an arrow icon appears next to the URL bar in Safari. Tap on it, then choose Downloads from the menu that appears. An alternative method is to open the Files app and go to the Downloads folder where the IPA will is saved by default.

A list of downloads appears in Safari. Tap on the downloaded IPA file to open it.

5. Press the share icon

When you open the IPA file, iOS doesn’t install it automatically because sideloading is not officially supported. Instead, you have to share the app with AltStore to install it.

Therefore, tap the share icon in the top right corner and select AltStore from the Share Sheet.

6. TikTok Unicorn will be installed by AltStore within a few seconds

AltStore will open to begin installing TikTok Unicorn. The installation process could take a few seconds or more, so have patience, sit back, and relax while AltStore does its job.

When the app installs, it will appear on the My Apps page to indicate that the process has been completed successfully.

Go to the Home screen and you should find an icon for the TikTok app. Tap on it to open the app and enjoy all the new features offered by the TikTok mod.

FAQ

TikTok++ vs TikTok Unicorn. What’s the difference?

TikTok Unicorn also goes by the name of TikTok++ so there is no difference between the two. Both the apps are literally the same except that some people prefer to call it TikTok++.

How to install TikTok Unicorn with Cydia?

The tweak is not available on Cydia for jailbroken devices. As such, the only way to install it is through AltStore.

How to get TikTok Unicorn?

You can get the latest version of TikTok Unicorn by saving the IPA file from the Download section on this page.

How to Install TikTok Unicorn with Cydia Impactor

Please note that Cydia Impactor is currently not working and apps won't install. Use AltStore instead.
  1. Download the TikTok Unicorn IPA file onto your computer.
  2. Download Cydia Impactor from here.
  3. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
  4. Open Cydia Impactor.
  5. Drag and drop the IPA file downloaded in Step 1 onto Cydia Impactor
  6. Cydia Impactor will ask for your Apple ID and password, which is verified with Apple only and is used to sign the IPA file. If you’re not comfortable providing it, then create an alternative Apple ID and use that instead.
  7. After the app is installed, go to Settings -> General -> Profiles (or “Device Management” / “Profiles & Device Management”). Find the profile with your Apple ID and open it.
  8. Tap on the Trust button.
  9. Now open the app and enjoy it.
